Information concerning 2020-2021 Auditions, Clinics, or anything else will be located here.
Drumline Video Audition Submissions Due April 29th
- ALL PERCUSSIONISTS... Please submit this form (https://bit.ly/OSMBpercussion) by Thursday, April 16th.
- Battery (a.k.a. Drumline) will prepare and video themselves performing specific excerpts from the "Battery WarmUps" packet and the Rudimental Excerpt from the "Audition Excerpts" page listed below.
- Though our entire warm-up packet is available, these are the specific exercises you will need to submit: (1) 8 on a Hand, (2) 5-7-9, (3) Roll Development. Don't forget the Rudimental Excerpt from the "Audition Packet".
- Taking the place of sightreading, we will post an additional excerpt by Sunday, April 26th that will need to be submitted by Wednesday, April 29th.
- The video below was created by our percussion instruction Mr. Pham, and not only demonstrates the audition excerpts and how to work on them, but so much more that will help you develop your rudimental playing ability. Check it out!

Uploading Your Video Files
You will need to use Google Classroom.
After you log in, use the class code "dxeuyu5",
and you will have joined the audition "class" (help video: https://youtu.be/u6snxyz3ktY).
Once you've recorded your video audition excerpts,
you will need to upload them as individual files under their appropriate "assignment" (help video: https://youtu.be/XRBWBfYxReo).
When you are completely finished with all 5 video submissions,
please email Mr. Coughlin ([email protected]) for confirmation.
